Steps to letting accesspoly produce your next
packaging product:
Deciding on the Product:
Application: accesspoly will review your product or existing design to see how it can be implemented into a polyolefin package. Our engineering department can help you in choosing the most practical and economical solution. They will help you to develop an original and structural prototype. accesspoly can assist with innovative prototype developments through a computer aided design (CAD) sample that will provide you hands on reality of your imagined ideas. Our product engineering staff will take your product concepts and develop them into a cost effective functional package that can go right into production.
Please visit our application analysis page.
Things to remember when deciding on the Product:
Size: Capacity of the product; how much it will hold.
Material: Regardless of what type of product you need packaged, accesspoly can design and manufacture an appropriate polyolefin solution for you. accesspoly's extrusion process produces two types of polyolefin materials, polyethylene and polypropylene. Polyethylene can be translucent or opaque giving you solid color variety and numerous graphic possibilities. Polypropylene is a similar material, but its clarity can produce a completely transparent sheet. It is by far the substrate of choice among graphic designers and packaging designers because of its ability to allow the products to be seen. Both polyolefins are considered some of the most durable materials in existence that enable screen printing, offset printing, foil stamping and embossing. However, there are appropriate applications for both materials. We will work with you in the development stage to determine which material is right for your application.
With accesspoly's in-house extrusion capabilities, color matched material is no problem. In both polyethylene and polypropylene, accesspoly can match any PMS color, custom color, or tint to meet your package requirements.
Gauge: Many Gauges are available.
PE: Minimum gauge is .015 and can go up to .180
PP: Minimum igauge is .015. In Polypropylene, once the gauge reaches .075 it can be extruded only.
